My name is Max Shuter; I am a guitarist and music producer, based in the Brighton and Hove area of the United Kingdom. I also play bass, keys/synth and sing to a high standard.
I endeavour to produce stimulating, cerebral songs and instrumental tracks with a mood-driven, cinematic feel by fusing organic instrumentation with synths, samples and beats.
You can listen to examples of my work as a solo artist and producer in the audio section.
As much as I enjoy working alone in the secluded comfort of my home-studio, I am always excited by collaborations and interaction with other creative people, so please get in touch if you're interested in a remix, need some original music for an upcoming project or would just like some great guitar laid down on your track.
I am available as a session musician, live band member, sound engineer and can provide tuition and advice in a number of areas including: advanced guitar skills, general musicianship, song-writing, arrangement, orchestration and recording / production, as well as home studio set up and installation. It's probably worth mentioning that my most recent employer was Roland UK, where I worked as a Product Specialist for 18 months.
I've kept this introduction brief to avoid self-indulgence, but if you'd like to know a bit more about me then you can check the biography section or read the latest pearls of wisdom and ramblings on my semi-neglected blog.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of Facebook or Twitter and I appear to have unwittingly sworn allegiance to Google, so when I do feel I have something interesting to say or share with the world, I generally do so on one of the following networks:
